AEDP Training Levels

Level 1 AEDP Therapist

Level 1 AEDP therapists have completed one major AEDP training. These therapists have been introduced to the model and are beginning to practice it with their patients/clients.

Level 2 AEDP Therapist

Level 2 AEDP therapists have completed two major AEDP trainings which has involved more in-depth training of the concepts and fundamentals of AEDP. These therapists may have more practice, and have received guidance, in the use of AEDP with their clients/patients.

Level 3 AEDP Therapist

Level 3 AEDP therapists have completed three major AEDP trainings, including the use of advanced AEDP skills. They have been integrating AEDP into their practice, and have received guidance and/or supervision from a Certified AEDP Supervisor.

Certified AEDP Therapist

Certified AEDP therapists have completed Level 3 requirements as well as the AEDP Institute’s rigorous certification process. Their work has been recorded, supervised, and verified to demonstrate AEDP by an AEDP Institute faculty review team.

Certified AEDP Therapist & Supervisor

The AEDP Certified Therapist & Supervisor has completed the AEDP certification process, received supervision and training related to providing supervision to upcoming AEDP therapists, and has completed a rigorous application process to become a Certified AEDP Supervisor.
